I'm Paul Downey
What brought me to coaching?
I found myself in a state of being, where nothing I did really felt any better; or I would accomplish things and feel like I still wasn't enough or I was a fraud. AND, I had evidence to back that up. Well, it’s where my focus was...
There was an emptiness that just carried on.
I was going through therapy, talking a lot, and not feeling any better after any sessions. I was trying everything... I finally stumbled on the concept of not being broken and focusing on creating a “life I love”. I had been plagued with suicidal ideation since my teenage years, depression, trauma, and tried most of the available antidepressants too.
Growing up in a blue collar family I kept trying the same old thing, put your head down, work harder, suck it up. I felt like something was missing. I didn’t want to accept that feeling numb all the time is my “normal”.
Long story short, I looked at a bunch of modalities, got certified in 2 of them, and gained so much experience and found so many like minded people.

My goal is to share what I found that got me the quickest and safest benefits to as many people as I can...
Paul holds sacred space. No judgment. Unhurried uncovering of blocked and tender spots in need of clearing, missing pieces to be filled in. I started the session with a vague 'lack of traction' in my life. The shift was not immediate, but when it came, a density in my mind and body, that I didn't know existed, was lifted. Paul is very grounded, focused, peaceful and confident, he gets quickly to the root of the issue and starts reprogramming the subconscious belief.
His remarkable intuition finds the root of the cause (I had traumas, shock and other energy imbalances and blocks from childhood) which he released fast and effectively. I could feel the energy shifts immediately in my body, resulting in feeling lighter, happier, peaceful and very relaxed. 😊

Paul is very focused, grounded and confident. He has the gift of taking you back to the root cause and create from there. I like the fact that he is more focused on creating than fixing. His rhythm class in San Juan Teotihuacán Mexico, containing of simple steps, clapping, etc... to rhythm, was very humbling at first. I have been an avid Billiard player for 20 years. I wanted to enjoy the game more. WIN MORE! Working with Paul, I got very clear on what I wanted, instead of trying to fix my game. Opponents are no longer able to throw me off my game, because it's really not personal. It's me, the table and where I put my focus. I found the results I was looking for! I was at a healing retreat in Mexico with Paul and he shared his rhythm's technique to help overcome some blockages or beliefs that could prevent us from embodying or realizing our true potential. He led us through some exercises that were outside our comfort zone and it was uncomfortable at first. However, as we practiced more, it seemed to become natural and also empowering. It allowed me to get out of my mind and just be in my body. To feel that energy of being vulnerable and also powerful at the same time was amazing. I highly recommend his technique as it's not something that you would find with other healers. Paul has a gift to help people release their subconscious blocks and beliefs. After working with Paul for several months “on zoom” doing energy healing, we finally did “in person” sessions during an energy healing retreat in Mexico. Paul did a rhythm class which was new to many others and me in the group. First, I felt uncomfortable during this unique experience where we had to clap, step and follow his precise instructions. After a while I understood the concept, it was fun, and a wonderful way to shift your energy.

When working with Paul the first thing that strikes me is his unassuming demeanor. Immediately I find that I can reveal anything to him, and he shows no judgment towards me.
Secondly, I am awestruck by his insights, especially in the realm of the body and its complex interconnectedness. He has true gift for addressing physical dis-ease and ailments.
Once he connects to your energy field there is a deeply calming and intense sense of his presence in guiding you to discover the root of the issue and to envision you thoroughly through to its resolve.
As a healer, myself, I am very selective about who I will allow to work on me. I find him powerful and highly efficient in his approach. I value the grace and ease in which he reveals to me parts of my psyche that have been stubbornly hidden from other healers and lightworkers.
He is a true master of shadow work. I enjoy his approach and always find myself in a higher vibration, feeling gratitude for what he has guided me through. Leaving me a better person for having allowed him to work his wondrous magic on me.
Plus, one can’t deny his great sense of humor. It is a compliment to his intense ability to address the heavy emotions, that quite often accompany serious unresolved traumas in one’s life.
